1 week before Ramadhan
Kak Rozi, my officemate, lost her husband due to heart attack. He's 46. Never knew him but got to know he's a great guy and had served the group for 13 years. Kak Rozi seems shaken and lost. And she told me his baju melayu had just ready the day before and its 2 pairs as he insisted which he never did before. Their 3 daughters seems lost too.

1 day before Ramadhan
Mak Perak, my distant (but close to heart) grandmother passed away of lung infection. She's 74. Just came back from umrah the Saturday before. She went through a lot in life. Married, had 7 children, divorced, all 7 kids taken by the father, the kids grown up hating her for letting them been battered by the typical stepmother, they patched up 5-6 years ago but the bond never been the same, she lived alone until recent years when she's too weak to do it herself anymore and had been taken care my her only daughter, who kept the least grudge against her. She's a kind woman, obviously strong. There were very little tears from the children except the daughter.

1st day Ramadhan
Azreen Hartini, a newbie in our HR dept, passed away of unknown illness (not to my knowledge at this moment). She's 23 (if I got it right). Cross path with her twice. Very dedicated, hardworking and kind person. Still remember teasing with her about a bell for our training session. The CEO, GM HR and the whole HR dept were at HKL to pay their last respects before her remains been taken away to Alor Star.

Out of all these, i knew i taken things for granted for not trying hard enough to get to know them closer and touch their life with a meaning. Everytime it happens, i wish i had did something differently.

Al-Fatihah..
